@MrHanzie89 No worries, I appreciate the feedback. If you are indeed looking for something easy and exciting, this isn’t the right piece. But after having listened to our version at least 20 times, I feel we did its spirit justice. It’s always harder to make something sad ans slow enjoyable for the viewer, the more upbeat, happy / positive songs are easier to sell indeed. π
In the musical “Carousel” for which this song was written, the hero Billy Bigelow dies and comes back to earth as an invisible angel to see his daughter one last time. This song is played at his funeral and contains a message of hope: “When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high”. π

@MrHanzie89 Can’t win them all. π
This is actually the original version of the song, as written for the musical “Carousel”.

@trudbol IMO it really doesn’t matter π
July 28th, 2011 at 8:26 pm
@CharlieBladeRemus I see. Does it matter what key it’s in?
July 28th, 2011 at 8:51 pm
@trudbol I think he means key instead of note. You’re singing in the key of B flat rather than the key of C
July 28th, 2011 at 9:50 pm
Shouldn’t the note be inο»Ώ C rather than B flat? That’s what my barbershop did.

@KATRINAMARIE123 Thank you Katrina! Please, just a little more patience and our turn will come too. π
