Liverpool FC Information

Liverpool have many star players that are extraordinarily favored by their fans which include Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard and you may have these names on the back of the Liverpool Shirt that you purchase.

Liverpool FC is ranked as the most successful football team ever in the British League with an unique record in domestic and EU competition. When they ( Everton ) won the British Soccer League Championship in 1891, Anfield owner John Houlding attempted to extend their rent noticeably. Liverpool is home to the oldest Chinese and African community in Europe. Liverpool is home to the Grand State, the most respected steeplechase in the globe. The club was not able to secure election to the league till 1893, when they joined the second division. Ending their first season with an unbeaten record, they were promoted to division one, and have not been lower than the second division again in their whole history.

That same year, a big growth of Anfield took lace with the development of a massive cinder bank behind the home goal.

It wasn’t till 1914 that Liverpool played in their first FA Cup last, and it was 192 [*FR1] before they won it though they went and did then go on to win it again the following year!

The changing fortunes of Liverpool and Shankly’s private personality ended in the club fielding the biggest players of the time, including Emlyn Hughes, Kevin Keegan, Ian St John, John Toshack and Roger Hunt.

Shankly took Liverpool into the 1st division in 1962, the season in which Roger Hunt scored a record ( to this day ) 41 league goals.

If Shankly is recollected as the boss that turned Liverpool around, Paisley is the chief who made it all pay and the record he created for winning football prizes was unbroken for 20 years after his retirement.

The highlight for several is the chance to stroll down the famous players’ tunnel and touch the famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign. The Anfield atmosphere, history and fabric is all part of the club.
