LIVERPOOL CONFIDENT ARNOLD WILL BE FIT FOR PRE-SEASON

English Premier League giants Liverpool were made two swear earlier this week over the fitness of their defender Trent Alexander-Arnold after the England international right-back suffered a worrying injury while away on international duty with his country. Before being called up to link up with the England national team, Arnold’s performances for Liverpool came under question as England head coach Gareth Southgate questioned whether he would be a good addition to the squad if eventually selected.

The defender eventually proved that he was capable of representing his country and earned himself a deserved call-up by the boss. Following his inclusion in the initial 26-man squad, he was able to make the final cut and was confirmed to be joining the squad that will be representing England at the Euros.

However, he suffered a huge setback after picking up an injury in England’s first friendly match before their opening match at the Euros. With the tournament set to start in less than a week, Arnold will no longer be able to play for England at the Euros but Liverpool have continued to remain confident that he will be fit enough to report for pre-season duty which they will be starting on the 12th of June.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will especially want the defender to regain full fitness as quickly as possible as he sees him as one of the most important players in the Reds squad. The manager will also want to have his other key players fit for the pre-season training as he wishes to have his players ready and kicking ahead of the coming English Premier League season where they will be looking to mount a serious title challenge against the league’s other big teams.

Arnold posted on his official Twitter account that he is gutted about his current situation but will not stop working hard to make his return from the injury.
